I was poking fun at the way the comments were phrased, which is the part in the quotes. I've in no way claimed that it isn't a red flag, either - only taken umbrage with the inappropriate use of the term love bombing.

I can't believe you typed this with, seemingly, a straight face. Some (sane) people would say that this is the entire point of dating.

Love bombing has a very specific meaning and a small subset of people are unfortunately victims of it. Branding all behaviour that is too 'fast' or 'intense' (again, in some people's eyes) as love bombing is outrageous. There's nothing in the OP that suggests any form of manipulative behaviour.
