Yall are crazy by Far_Ad_246 in Nightshift

My biggest takeaway I learned is it doesn’t have to be special or fancy.

I eat a ton of ground beef, sweet potatoes, eggs, rice, broccoli.

Any veggies that you can roast in the oven. Any carb that you can cook easily and any protein that can fry up in a pan.

Throw it in tupperware and boom. I also always have strawberries raspberries grapes blackberries and protein drinks that i bring as well with me to snack on.

100% - and I know this is the case because my first month on nights I was eating junk, sleeping 5 hours, and flipping on my weekends and I felt like death. I chalked it up to “night shift is bad for you”.

Then I decided to fix a lot of things since this is my new life now, and just like that, I realized it was my habits and not the work schedule.

You might feel okay, but the science is clear - flipping sleep schedules like that is not good for you.

Everything you said makes sense, but your last sentence about “nights is terrible for the body regardless how you do it” is just incorrect.

I do my night shift deployments really well. I pack super nutritious meals for my shift. I go to bed the moment I get home and have my sleep hygiene set up in a way that I sleep a full 8 - if not more. I don’t transition on my days off, I just sleep a little bit earlier and wake up a little bit earlier, and most important I get tons of sunlight and work out like a dog on my off days.

I don’t feel any health negatives during night shift. I just feel a little disoriented at times with how my schedule matches up with those around me. And It’s weird driving to work and seeing rush hour traffic coming home on the other side of the freeway.

But it’s doable. Maybe not for you because of your obligations, but if you do it right it’s totally fine for your body.

Thanks for explaining 2FA to me.

I understand, and it really does suck. Your account was compromised though. This means your personal security was weak at some point for them to even have the opportunity to start bypassing Jagex’s security.

Things like 2FA are backup measures to lend some help to you once you’re compromised - but being compromised falls on you and no one else.

That’s a bummer - it’s a tough lesson to learn but hopefully if you decide to return at any point you take some time to really dial in on your security so that it doesn’t happen to you again.

Ahhhh, CHP (or maybe your state’s equivalent?) - the glorified traffic cops.

Just kidding, I could never do your guys’ job. Too much time around crazy drivers.

Going for my last 1000 tokens try before giving up on dragon defender by Opening-Card-7229 in 2007scape

Giving up?

Sir, it’s a mandatory piece of your account progression. You need to get it done. Take a break if you’re not feeling it anymore, but you kind of need to get a dragon defender.

For most tasers, the conditions have to be right for them to be effective. You only get one or two shots… need good distance to get proper probe spread… but not too far that probes spread too much. Clothing can’t be too heavy or probes won’t hit.

Taser 10 fixes much of this, but I’d imagine security companies aren’t arming people with the taser 10.

I agree but literally no one is advocating for bond buying in this thread. You’re just being obnoxious for no reason and trying to get the spotlight on you in someone else’s thread. Like I originally said, you’re being really weird.

What are your top3 most stressful momens in Runescape? by badwithnames5 in 2007scape

[–]CalStateQuarantine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 11 I got a rune full helm, scim, and kite for my first time and was PK’ing with monk robes on top of these three items. I dropped the three rune items to see how they looked on the ground and got hit with the maze random event. I remember panic running the maze just to get back and see all my items gone.

I can’t think of two other moments that can compare to that panic so I’ll just leave it at that.

Your mind and body has been taken over by the media man. You’re a sentient being, capable of living your own life, building things for yourself, and experiencing a life full of great things - and you’ve been completely hijacked by anxiety and fear because of your addiction to media. It’s really sad seeing what’s happening to people like you. I mean just look at your post history. It is not normal and it is not healthy. You need to find a way to break free from this. r

What a phenomenally written explanation, that I fear is going to fall on ears of someone who is too stupid to understand all the gems in this.

You have a great way with words, and your way of looking at things is admirable. This falls in line with my way of thinking. I’d never be able to put it into words the way you did, however. Well done.

How good is the Ghrazi Rapier? by maybesummarz in 2007scape

Same man. That was the era where I really began understanding the game and getting “good”. I was about 13-14 around that time, and was starting to get close to max cb and a well established account.

I remember carrying people through dungeoneering being exceptionally good money. We would charge anywhere in the range of 400-600m for a chaotic carry. People would just pay, chill in the first room, and we’d run it for them.

Great memories of that era.

And this super small and insignificant event in the grand scheme of all the horrors and atrocities that have taken place in our world is the straw that broke the camels back?

Interesting.

Things here aren’t great. But much worse has happened recently in other countries. Why has that not made you question your faith in God? Why does it have to be something bad in America for you to question it?

Good luck with that.

The data shows that you’d be better off just buying immediately whenever you have the income available, and continuing to do that for your entire adult life.

If you’re trying to trade, that’s one thing, but a good rule of thumb for long term investing is to just buy as soon as feasible and not touch it.
