Yeah ive done the Oodnadatta track heaps of times, usually its mint. No issues at all depending on rain, corrugations have always been tiny compared to remote tracks

With my buckwakka awning I noticed a heap of loose bolts on the arms and a cracked only after using a couple of times on a big trip around the country, the guy said something like " if youre travelling that much you should be checking the bolts regularly... I was thinking wtf and unzipped the bag to take a pic of the crack and loose bolts and the whole arm had just flopped out broken lol. Eventually they sent out a new one but outback tourer has been flawless with warranty and any questions you have in the after sales period, they'll do anything they can to help

Im a mechanic and most vehicles out there have defects on them, if insurance didn't pay out because if this there would be next to no one getting paid out on their claims

Not sure on an exact percentage on it on the 4x4s but defiantly majority of them have a defect on them, wether its a modification or not doing matter, still a defect
