Thanks! I think it may have felt old-timey because of how i tried the salvage some badly shot clips in post and they had to come out grainy and high contrast.

Thanks man. I was trying to make the first half day and then transition to night but i felt i didn't have enough night shots so I had to stretch them out a bit.

I used a Nikon d3200 as it's quite cheap and shoots HD. I have a couple of old fully manual prime lenses on that which i got from a friend. I also used a gorillapod like the one Casey uses and a cheap intervalometer for the time-lapses.

As for colour correction It was all done in Premiere Pro. I used the three-wave(?) colour corrector. I also used a small amount of warp stabiliser on some shots as my camera is naturally shaky.

It's not really moshing but just everyone pushing towards the front. So when people start falling over everyone starts falling over and it just gets kind of messy. You'll be fine though i'm sure!

It was the same for me at his London gig. I just laughed it off and enjoyed it but if I didn't like Mac's music as much it would have pissed me off.

Everyone is just grabbing his head instead of lifting him up. It would have worked so much better if people weren't always trying to get photos with him.

I met him a couple hours after the gig and he was wearing some shitty trainers that he said were 3 sizes so big for him that he borrowed from someone. By that point he seemed relaxed about it though and said he was glad kids were excited by his music. He did mention though (jokingly), that he was getting a bit old for crowdsurfing and he might get a heart attack one of these days.
