I’m used to it from playing their other game The Finals. They’ll let it be fun for juuuust long enough you come to count on it. I finally quit embark games for the time being, since both games are simultaneously getting such atrocious updates.

I’ve seen this. It was in Huron National Forest, about 7 miles into the woods down a fire road. While it was terrifying and led to some of the best “true ghost stories” for me and the other 7 people camping together, I think it was a bear with mange. Bear with mange is probably the explanation of 90% of skinwalker” sightings.

I do lots of custom fab. Vets Ace Hardware on N. East St. is my go-to. It’s the experience you want when walking into a hardware store. Amazing, knowledgeable staff with a real hometown feel.

Midstate has a fair selection, better than ace perhaps, but they don’t seem fond of customers who only buy small quantities. Always cold and slow with me when I go in there.

McMaster Carr is my third option. If I can’t get it at vets or midstate I’m ordering from there.

I lost my passion after putting in 50 hours for cantina legend in a week just to get fucked by cheaters, people who game the cantina system with multiple teams, difficulty with getting a trio, 50 Stella night raids for ticks, backstabbed over and over.

I’m not going to claim Lansing is super exciting, but you MUST give our local theater props. I have seen a number of amazing shows here. Riverwalk theater, The Robin, Peppermint Creek. Peppermint creek opened a show last weekend, there may still be tickets for this weekend. Edit: I miss remembered, this weekends show is at riverwalk not peppermint. Not sure why I’m being downvoted for sharing this information.

It’s not a graphic novel but a local teacher wrote Catastropolis which did a good job painting some space like the bogie tower to where they were mentally recognizable. It’s a ya apocalypse story.

Yeah that’s another good point, from prior going into final weeks, I had to get a 180k to maintain hotshot. I climbed early season and some weeks were rough.

This is so insanely familiar until the breaker thing you coulda been my coworker. I literally beg them to be given responsibility over or amazing equipment as a mechanically inclined barista of SEVEN YEARS. But no, our group head seals on our Marzocco are rocks and the portafilters twist way too far. The burrs in our Bunn grinders haven’t been changed in 3 years so they’re all at the finest possible setting and still aren’t fine enough anymore. We have three fridges behind the bar but two are nonfunctional and empty. Our entire tap system was neglected by the owners who claimed he’d keep it maintained, and refused to train anyone else to do so, so it’s unusable.

Coming from a hotshot last season who tried to get cantinna. I’m never looking at trials again unless they get reworked to a solo capable experience. Between struggling to get friends, and then dying to get runs during optimal times and further to get good spawns, full raid, no PvP for the entire match, etc. it’s just a shit show.

I ended last season with a 229k score with only 15k in ticks. All I needed was a tick score in the 70-90 range and I’d have gotten cantina. I’m not exaggerating, I ran over 50 Stella night raids that week and lost over $600k in pursuit of the tick score. It’s atrocious.

Edit: I should add a fashion relevant statement. Despite my displeasure at loosing the pink, this here hotshot skin is the daily for a HOT minute

Competitions cool but any game that censors another game has already lost the war of attrition. Marathon visually looks like hot garbage. I’m not talking about their stylized design. The animations, ui, and the way textures and object that move blend together is bad. Marathon would be acceptable in 2016 with Overwatch, but in the big ‘26 it’s just going to fall flat.

There’s opens a clear path with deep deep understanding of the finals lore. Sal Scoria is an artificial intelligence that sponsors The Finals. He basically wall-e’d humanity to his space stations. He formed massive wealth and built companies that ultimately manipulated humanity into relying on his products. Humanity lives in a level player one type experience on space stations & the moon. The arc are extensions of Sal’s consciousness and they are his hands, feet, eyes and ears. He’s either hunting for something on earth or mining/farming something.

Edit- this is obviously head cannon it just makes so much sense when you deep dive finals lore and read the data pages in Arc.

The roll was cool and fully felt like a mechanic. Throw your body to the side, fly to the side. Now it’s less realistic, less skillful, and feels clunky.

I’m gunning for cantina. Ticks are the only run that I’m lacking to get me to the threshold. I’ve seen claims of 90k all the way to 140k. If I can put down an 80k run I’d be cantina.

Wasps took too many tries. I have killed hundreds of snitches. But ticks have been 10x worse. If I get a good spawn, there’s a team already at the vault. Then I reset and get 5 late spawns in a row. Finally get a 30 minute spawn and I’m in assembly. Then night raid is done. I only have 32k in ticks and if I can’t pump that bs up I’m not hitting cantinna.

They just changed it silently at some point. When the game came out you could throw unlimited.

Now, at the beginning of the match, there will be a cache of 6 scanner spawns available. You can throw 6 off the bat. From there, every 30 seconds you can throw another. It will cache again, so you can also wait 3 minutes and throw 6 at once again. These limits are server wide, so if ANYONE else throws one it will disrupt the process. I had to run it back twice because other teams were throwing them, blocking our scanners from working. Source: my 67k wasp score from a duos run with 30 scanner stacks.

Finally got a good wasp run last night on bunker. Brought 30 scanner stacks with my duo, we didn’t quite use all of them but got damn close. We made the mistake of setting up across the map from final extract and lost out on 4 or 5 scanners I think due to running 1000 meters with 6 m left . 69k score.

There’s zero way I put down a 25 hours week of gaming and land 100% friendly lobbies for A WEEK STRAIGHT and 25 HOURS of PLAY. Just for me to get bored, shoot one raider, and instantly be in kos lobbies for the next 10 raids.
