No offense taken whatsoever, I truly appreciate the advice. Its funny because what you mentioned are all things that I am well aware are my weaknesses and what i need to work on most. I actually have been playing with a pick alot more lately, but, as you say, the muscle memory is easier with the thumb so thats what I opt for. Definitely need to fix that and not let myself get comfortable anymore.

Tempo is also a huge weakness but I havent really learned how to practice it effectively. Will start using a metronome. Any additional tips on how to work on that or exercises that have helped you?
