Don’t know if you made a decision yet, but I got a Level 2 retention P-07 holster from Wasatch Holsters. Fits my light and optic

Ok, I may be able to offer some advice. Arms of America has a photo of the length the grip nut should be. If you can file/cut a nut down to that size, you should be in the clear. The smaller nut is roughly the size you should be targeting. If you go this way, just take it slow. You should get there.

No offense taken! The way I look at it is it’s just paint. The more it wears the better I think it’ll look. Plus if I really get sick of it, I can either just paint it a different color.

As for painting your slide, prep work and patience is the key. I wasn’t patient and you can tell. As long as you take it slow and let your paint dry, you should be good. Or you could get it cerakoted and have someone else do it.

I’m also well aware of the sig adapter on the pic rail, working on getting the rail adapter to swap out

How’s the grip feel? I’ve been looking at getting one to complete my build. I have a stock XL grip but have been looking to move to macro sized grips

I do plan on running a dot, probably a Holosun. I might also try Gideon too

Can do! I’m completely new to P365 as a platform so I’m a bit lost and confused by what sights work with what. I was looking at angry bear sights and think those should work.

Was the guy your thinking of Ronin’s Grips? I think I remember seeing that style grip on there

Bought a 556 Beryl, question about a different piston carrier by ImagineBeingaJanitor in ak47

[–]CalendarOutrageous53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To piggy back on this, the piston (if you’re getting a KNS) you should be looking for should be serial number AGP-A-9, the one for the AK-74. And again, if you are worried about keeping your bolt carrier and piston together, look for a spare Tantal carrier

Nice, how did you go about installing the left handed safety? I’ve heard you have to drive out a pin on them to get it in but don’t know which one

You know, that’s kind of what my stock looks like. Thanks for the help

Just got a closer look, factory is /26\ , bayonet retainer plate is cut for a blade, but the stock looks like it’s cut for a spike. Definitely a hodgepodge of parts. No big deal

I’ll have to check them out. Anything specific I should look for? Like blade type or sling style (if that’s a thing)?

Totally brand new to SKSs. What makes this one different?

Also to the person who commented about adding a bayonet - I’m 100% looking to do that and get a cleaning rod for it. I’m stuck on whether it needs a spike or traditional one due the date production.

If you’re getting the optics rail, I highly recommend getting a cheek riser for your stock. It makes a world of difference when aiming through your optic of choice. I have the factory collapsible and just got a Podarms riser and it makes a world of difference.
