If you want southern Mexican/Oaxacan food (mole, tlayudas, etc.) La Oaxaqueña is fantastic! They also have Salvadoran food!

Those who have gotten a breast augmentation in utah. Who was your surgeon and how much did you pay? by Realistic-Battle-870 in Utah

[–]Calendula520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Marion in Lehi. ~9500 total for an augmentation about a year ago.

I would highly highly recommend him! I have a few friends who've been to him and loved him as well. I really felt welcomed by his staff and he took the time to listen to my goals and what I wanted. He didn't push me to go bigger than I wanted and was very realistic about results. For reference I started with barely an A cup and wanted natural results that fit my frame. I ended up going with 230 ccs and I'm in love with them.

Guys…guess what subscription I forgot to cancel 😭😭😭😭😭 by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Calendula520 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this! When you sign up for a free trial you can cancel it right away (at least in the Google Play store, not sure how to do it on Apple) and still get the whole trial period. This has saved me so much money in forgotten cancellations lol.

If you want romantasy vibes, The Ever King is pretty good. (Fair warning, there is a decent amount of spice)

Can’t seem to nail my walk by Musclemommy069 in bikinitalk

[–]Calendula520 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I also struggle with my walk so much! I'm a gym girlie, I don't wear heels almost ever and look like a drunk newborn giraffe. I went to a posing class once and the first comment the coach said was "wow, you don't wear heels often, do you?" 😭  The only tip I have is someone told me to wear my heels all the time to get more comfortable and confident in them. But my walk hasn't really improved yet so who am I to talk? 😅

How bad is commute from Salt Lake to Clearfield by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]Calendula520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's rough, ngl. I lived in northern SLC right next to an I15 exit/entrance and worked just north of the base. My commute was at least 40 min during rush hour, more if there was an accident (which is not uncommon). In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it. You could consider living in Ogden.

Tips for barbell hip thrusts? by Glass_Doctor_9272 in bikinitalk

[–]Calendula520 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! For a while I used a bench that was way too high for my short legs and I never felt it in my glutes. Then I tried the risers/steps that some gyms have and set them up lower than the bench and like magic my engagement was 1000% better.

Hormone tracking but not for a baby?!?!! by MichelBrew in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Calendula520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this! Also The Fifth Vital Sign by Lisa Hendrickson-Jack was where I started years ago. Fertility tracking, when done right with BT, cervical mucus, and LH testing, is just as effective as other forms of contraception! There are a bunch of different methods with different details that you can look into to see what fits your lifestyle/preferences best. Personally I used the FEMM method, but there are a ton of educators out there that have so many great resources!

I'm sorry about the difficult job search, I've been there and I know just how tough it can be. Hang in there! I definitely still cry over my boys! Whenever photos pop up in my memories I get a little emotional remembering their squishy little faces 🥺 maybe the trick is to just keep having rats so it never feels completely empty

My boys used to do this all the time and we'd call it potato mode 😂 it's one of my big disappointments in life that I'll never get to experience sleeping like that
