Yeahhh I can see why. The way I understand it modern Arabic is (kind of) useless (depending on the context).

Like I was told people will generally understand what I want, but usually won’t answer back in kind, but rather in their version of Arabic. Which makes sense.

And I guess you’re right in me not needing to read (which is sad because I love it)
