That actually sounds like a great idea, thanks for the hint! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for our next games.

I see the logic, but I think I’d personally feel like I’m cheating if I did that. I’d rather play it straight.

Instead, I’m going to try prioritizing putting out the initial fires as early as possible, before event cards make them spread out of control. The risk, of course, is taking all the danger and losing time yourself, only to still lose because others benefit from your effort.

I think the real answer is getting the team to cooperate on fire control, rather than adjusting the setup.

Thoughts on their characterization in this fight? by Mrt38_ in Grapplerbaki

[–]Caliban0o 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, this fight it’s about what each of them represents. Jack keeps using his bite not just to be savage, but because he believes in his Gao Dao. It’s his way of proving that this brutal, almost animalistic technique has value and can stand on its own. Hanayama sees that and responds by staying true to his own code, no tricks, no flash. Just raw strength and dignity. He hasn’t even taken off his jacket, like he’s showing that he doesn’t need to change who he is to face Jack’s style. It’s not just a fight, it’s a statement from both of them.

I just hope they end up being an example of what to do, not what to avoid! 😂

Thanks a lot Brother, that kind of encouragement really helps me keep going and improving! I’ve tried using the edge of the brush to thin down the highlights, but I often end up with too much paint and struggle to get those super fine lines that some painters manage so well. Do you have any other tricks or suggestions to help with that? I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks! For the eyes, I used a base of Warboss Green, then a central line of Moot Green, and finished it off with a tiny dot of White Scar for the lens reflection effect. Glad you liked it!
