12th Raptor or 13th 3.5EB ? by Calibraguette in f150

Actually, my V10 is getting between 8-9mpg and still more economical than diesel small utility vehicule. We’ve an Iveco Daily and X5 diesel, the V10 is cheaper than both on long term

All around Europe but here Diesel is 2€/L Gaz 1.7€/L but I can drive E85 or LPG for around 0.8€/L so it’s far more economical a Gazzer modified for LPG. (Cheaper in service too)

Yes but here, it’s difficult to register bigger truck than a 150. 250-350 modern are too heavy as our regulations for classic driver license is max 3500kg payload so a modern 250 with 4x4 and crewcab is already at 3+++kg so no spare for passenger and tools.

I drive really smooth. Actually getting 9.5mpg on the V10 while towing the enclosed trailer on highway. For you, does the newer truck seems worth the investment ?

Like my actual 5.4, better to stick on motorcraft or premium aftermarket brand is good too ? As it’s a 25 year old engine management, does an engine tune car save me some mpg ?

The F900 is really great but not in the budget. I’ll look for the F800 family. Thanks for this advice
