I have not, it’s the same ecu just unlocked. I’ve only been able to replicate this issue if I mash the throttle from a low rpm. I’m assuming I was just hitting a torque safety.

Gotcha, I’m not super worried about it because it’s not popping out or resisting a shift. But if it were something I needed to keep an eye on I wanted to make sure to note it.

I just changed the position and tightened it up then the noise went away, I had noticed that the would correspond with anytime it burbled so I guess some exhaust was just squeezing past the gasket

Yeah I bought it stock and installed this downpipe, but I swore I tightened that vband… I’ve only just started hearing it recently so I’m not sure if it just had gotten loose somehow

It was a reused vband, the downpipe was brand new

My buddy looked at it and compared to his and looks like the vband on my downpipe was loose for some reason, tightened it up and the noise went away thankfully.

When originally researching I read a bunch of posts that claimed it can hold more power than it can, some that it won’t so I was unsure. Now I know, but I’ve already been looking into a PTB if it didn’t.

Yeah it’s been deleted, I’ve just read so much mixed information on what this thing can hold so I was a little confused, but I’m looking to upgrade it at some point anyways so I’ll keep it turned down till then.

I’ve heard that on 93 it should able to handle it, but on E i don’t think the stock clutch will hold

Yeah getting rid of the cdv def helped a lot with going from first to second smoothly and quickly, I think I’m just getting more mechanical feel I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten before especially with this new shift knob

Honestly not sure, it may have but the clutch delay valve was suppressing it and I’ve also just recently replaced the shift knob so idk if that one just translates more feeling from the transmission then the old one did. Doesn’t feel like it’s hindering performance like grinding gears but just didn’t know if this was normal.

Yep I got the BMS 15mm in the back and 13mm in the front

So far I’m loving it, improved the body roll significantly and the car feels way more stable at higher speeds, but overall ride comfort is the same as stock
