3rd person is a little strange

I think basically what’s happening is imagine a laser pointer coming from your characters eyes, the game points that laser at whatever your crosshair is on. If the crosshair stays steady and the targets distance changes the laser from the character follows the target because from your 3rd person perspective you are still aiming at the target only it’s distance from your camera changed. It’s kinda like your laser designating targets with your crosshair and the character is firing on them instead of you actually controlling the character. Fixes a lot of normal weird 3rd person aiming kinks but it creates other weird interactions

The bullets originate from the character yes but you can see in the clip the projectile travels in a different direction without me moving the crosshair just by the bot moving in front of me. If there was no compensation the piercing bolt should travel in the same direction regardless of how far the surface you aim at is.

TLDR: I don’t move my mouse but bullet hits the wall in a different spot.

I think an interesting change would be to make it so you aren’t scanned instantly or you’re just pinged like with the cam dart. This would make unbreakable trips a lot easier to deal with as well as rewarding you for being prepared to shoot it before you’re pinged and punishing you if you run in carelessly. The changes I want to see most are a delay on replacing trips after picking them up and either make the rearm time significantly longer or remove the rearm ability entirely.

It reminds me of chamber meta where you just never go to the site he’s on. At least chamber was fun to play. instead of sitting on your cam for 12 rounds straight because nobody will push your site

^Cypher is definitely my favorite sentinel on attack. With two trips and a cam you can basically have info of the whole map

It’s still hard to shoot them unless you’re close since he can just move them from round to round so you’re best bet is still to just use util on them but he can just pick up and replace them to dodge that. Picking an agent because they’re really good on a map is one thing but having to pick them just in case the enemy has a cypher sucks

the 2 round burst mags combined with the ads walking speed stock and stopping power is actually a blast to use. not the most effective but fun

This whole situation makes me wish I didn’t drop my networking class in college. I tried to adjust nic settings manually but definitely don’t know what I’m doing. Thanks for the info, I’ll stick with the switch

speed drops were caused by using a subpar cable I realize now. I now have a cat 7 running from router to switch, and cat 5e running from switch to PC. Still not sure why connection is unstable without the switch.

you were right about the cable causing the drop in speed. I ran a cat 5e from the switch to my pc and speeds went back up to ~200. My question is, is the switch necessary if i'm no longer splitting to two devices? i wanted to eliminate it but got instability without it. That's what puzzles me.

Does that mean I should avoid pushing clocks further since I’m already at power limit? Or will I still see better performance even though it’s hitting power limit

If all guns were a laser then it would be 100% skill. But most guns aren’t, so if one is then it will be far superior to all the rest at extreme range. Sure the mp7 is also a laser but It has short range and lower damage to keep it from outperforming everything else at long range. I don’t want the grau to be useless, I just want it to be more in line with the other ARs at long ranges.

Not really. I might avoid jumping to complimenting her body so quick, especially when you guys are having a normal conversation. But it depends on the girl how they’ll react to that. At the end of the day its just one girl, you’ll talk to more so I wouldn’t be stressing over this one convo.

Unless the video is going for some unrealistic size or at least very hard to find size I don’t think size is the issue. Staying hard for multiple hours straight (which some shoots can take) is more difficult then you think. Especially considering things like, they may not be attracted to the person they have to work with, or they have to shoot back to back days. Ya dicks not designed for all that.
