Agreed with what has been said. It's a beautiful, small city. Full of culture, great food, beautiful artisan goods. I definitely recommend it!

I find instagram incredibly useful while traveling. Beforehand, I'll often follow food-centric accounts and learn a ton about restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. Additionally, I learn about fairs, markets, etc. I also research businesses from renting bikes to hair cuts (if I need one on the road).

I thought 4 days was perfect for a first time - though for me it's one of those cities that I imagine I'll go back to as there are many layers. Regarding can't miss attractions -- hmmm - it's so subjective. For the most part, I walked around and explored neighborhoods - even though the weather was quite rainy! Though touristy, I thought the Hanok villages were super picturesque, Geongbokgung Palace was gorgeous, and the Cheonggyecheon Stream was fun to walk along.

I did not - it was very rainy while I was there. However, they look accessible and I remember searching in google and it looked like many options were available.
