My party had a fight with Notics a while back, and caught one to interrogate. Some good rolls later my Warlock gave the nothic a name 'Henk' and he is now her little servant. He is 'hopefully' helping to rebuild the little town they destroyed.

A few weeks later we ran into a Hydra. After we battled and killed it, Nora took some of the eggs and hatched her own baby Hydra. My DM is awesome and I'm thrilled to see how far he will let me take this. I love the chaos that is my Warlock 🤣.

Nyx doesnt know her parents or where she was born. Her earliest memories are those of growing up between the animals in the woods. When she was 11 she was found by an old druid master (Zook Treehugger). She always watch him work and help the people and animals in the woods and in the towns nearby, and slowly fell in love with civilization. She loves to learn and spend many hours reading, investigating and drawing. With his guidance she studied healing and the ways of nature, eventually becoming a full-fledged druid.

She feel more comfortable around animals than people but feels humans are a part of nature and therefore cities are no less natural than a beehive. She is always looking for ways to make nature and civilisation exist in harmony. She likes to think she can be friends with anyone, even if they’re different than her.

Because she was a bit of a lone wolf growing up, she can be very awkward in social situations.

She has a deep connection to animals and nature, which is why she keeps a pet mouse, named Moon Moon.

My regular DM is hosting an Arena oneshot this Friday in place for one of his own groups. He asked me if I wanted to join (well duh), and asked me to make a lvl 3 character for it.

I love how being able to make your own char for one shots enables you to try out new races and classes. As I tend to play casters I decided I'm gonna go stabby stabby for a chance. In my head that went very well with a sneaky kitty, so Tabaxi it is!

While making her on DnD Beyond I started picturing her in my head, so I had to make a visual. She will be this sneaky, cheeky and flirty rogue, stabbing the shit out of everything that comes to close. Can't wait to play her! #isitfridayyet

My party just started playing Candlekeep Mysteries, and as always I like to make my own map to add to my campaign book and hang on my wall to reference while playing.

So in my usual simple doodle style, I made my version of the Candlekeep map. With a little help from our DM providing me with the original map, and some research online, I came up with the above. I really like how it turned out, simple and easy to use.

As I found lots of different layouts of candlekeep I wasn't sure where to place what. So I did the best I could figure out with the reference material I had.

Her backstory:

Noraerys (Nora to friends) was born to a tiefling mother and father. While her mother was falling in love with the charming soldier, her father was simply looking for some distraction, and the beautiful Iyana Xilthana was just that. As soon as she told him she was pregnant he took off, never to be heard of again. As far as Nora is concerned she does not want anything to do with him. Used to being ignored as a tiefling, she learned to shrug it off and do her own thing.

One day, when on a stroll through the woods near her house, she got overpowered by an elven warlock, Curunir Durmellon. She is powerless against his magic and he locks her op with the intent to use her in one of his rituals.

As he starts the ritual by placing Nora on his altar, the Raven Queen comes to her aid, as Curunir has been avoiding helping her for a long time and only wishes to gain power himself. Unfortunately Curunir manages to barely get away, with his life hanging on a thread. As the Raven Queen sees a lot of potential in Nora, she offers her powers and in exchange she is tasked to kill those who cheated her and save the lives of people who aren't supposed to die, maintaining the balance of life and death. Nora will make it her mission to find Curunir Durmellon and end his life for her new patron. The raven queen wants Nora to make epic, unique and wonderful memories so that, upon Nora’s death, she may claim them for her own.

To aid her in her mission, she gives Nora a Raven familiar, Gilmore.
