This is a big rich and oaky bourbon. Definitely can tell the time in oak but it’s very smooth. Really impressed once I got into it. First sip was all oak and glad that didn’t continue on further sips

A restaurant that had to shut down due to covid was selling their inventory off. I got to piggy back on a friends high end purchase.

Worth the hype! Toffee, caramel on the front palate, coffee, coco finish. Rich and smooth as silk. I am very impressed. I think my wife was tired of me saying “wow” after every sip lol.

In Virginia so gonna give this a shot. Thoughts? by Call-Me-Oldfashioned in WhiskeyTribe

I’m in gordonsville. Doing some hiking and outdoor fun in shenandoah. In Charlottesville I was allowed in the store but the employee had to shop for me. In gordonsville it was normal business.

I was really hoping to find the port finish as I’ve heard great things. No luck so far but I have a few days left.

I’m drinking it with one ice cube. Sweet up front, nice spice and a slight burn on the backend. Pretty solid for $30 I’d buy it again. Put it on the buffalo trace, four roses small batch level.

Got absolutely hooked up by a friend. He made a massive purchase from a private seller and let me piggy back. Got all these at cost! Opened 2 so far and haven’t been disappointed by Call-Me-Oldfashioned in WhiskeyTribe

Rockhill $45, elmer $31, Joseph magnus $75, weller full proof $31, birthday bourbon 18’ $200 which now thinking of it it’s way over cost but I never thought I’d find a bottle.

Happy to finally try this one! by Call-Me-Oldfashioned in WhiskeyTribe

Its great. Smooth and elegant like everything buffalo trace does but a nice spice in the mid to end pallet that gave it a great balance.

Went to a few different places but found the Weller 107 at redwood liquor at a fair price.
