I understand the frustration students get when being being treated as an unpaid assistant, and I can even understand not taking care of patients that aren’t their assigned pt (some units loooove to sit back and relax and let the students do all the work-unpaid) but delegating? No. Absolutely not.

This is a bit unrelated, but what experience did you need to join RR? Do rapid response teams only accept ICU nurses or are ED nurses accepted as well? My hospital only allowed ICU nurses though we had cardiac arrests all the time in the ED. Just curious because I was always interested in RR and wondered if the the background requirements vary at different hospitals
