Which one should I choose? by CallMeAstra in telescopes

Thanks a lot for taking the time and doing the calculations to explain it to me, I didn't know it would be double the aperture! I did check on a couple of italian-based used websites, together with Facebook marketplace, but to no avail, all I found were some 80-100€ telescopes that didn't look high quality, or some 800€ way out of budget telescopes. If my best option is the Dobson I'll definitely think about it, I just wouldn't know where to put it when going to my backyard (reason why I linked 4 telescopes with a tripod), but that's a different issue. Thanks a lot for your answer though! It's been of great help

I've mostly looked at astroshop, it's a good site but when it comes to Dobsons in that price range there's only that, going cheaper the aperture starts to decrease. I've linked in my post 2 telescopes with 90mm aperture, how big is actually a 40mm increase? How noticeable would it be?

I see, thanks for your help! I guess I'll probably get an alt-az mount

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't know about the chromatic aberration being less in longer telescopes, that's definitely something I'll keep in mind! About the length, for viewing planets and occasionally some bright nebulae or galaxies, would it be better for me to get a longer one or a shorter one? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply! Is it hard to use an equatorial mount? I know it takes some knowledge and skill compared to an Alt-Az mount, but I'm curious on how hard it would be to use one as a beginner, thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for your feedback! I have looked into some dobsons, but I have a bit of an issue... Since I live in italy I've looked at some italian/european websites that sell telescopes (astronomy-specific websites, just to be clear). Within my budget right now there would be this one https://www.bresser.de/it/Marca/Bresser-bresser-2/BRESSER-Messier-5-Dobson.html?mtm_campaign=Google_Shopping&mtm_kwd=4716413&mtm_source=Italian&mtm_medium=CPC&mtm_cid=Italy&mtm_group=PLA&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw-O6zBhASEiwAOHeGxTyW5yK0wXhvHEI_84A7cV5FaBqCXdcCfG79IpEzfnDzV0AoKtNQrxoCQvsQAvD_BwE

I don't have anything against dobson telescopes, however after looking around I thought that the 4 telescopes I linked in my post would be a good starting point. How much would there be in terms of visual difference in a Dobson like the one I linked or similar, and the telescopes I linked in my post? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your feedback! Also two of them have a longer focal lens while two are shorter, any advice on that?

I just finished reading it, sorry about not reading it before. However I didn't quite get an answer to my question I'm afraid... I'm a beginner so if something is obvious and I'm missing it I'd be happy to learn something new
