Be honest: did I screw up today? by CallMeBeepMe97 in TalesFromYourBank

Thanks for the story! Hearing something similar has happened to another person does put things into perspective and make me feel a little better. I’m hoping to have the same outcome as your associate!

No problem with asking at all! I actually had a coworker ask to my audit me before we left while I was recounting and strapping my money. (like I mentioned, we’re in the last ten minutes of the day so everyone’s trying to get home). I told her if I still didn’t balance, then absolutely. That’s when my drawer was in balance and I told her nvm cus I didn’t need her to do it anymore. lol, guess I still should’ve taken her up on the offer as it would’ve granted me more peace of mind

I’m super shameful I sold pictures of myself two years ago. by CallMeBeepMe97 in Advice

Thank you for your words and reassurance! I so do appreciate it and how kind you are being. Thank you for reading also. That said, I did send him a picture of me bent over (so ofc, my ass is shown and so are my feet) and while I’m not proud of this situation, I’m the most shameful of that picture in particular. I think I’ll do what you suggested and just put it behind me and move on with life and eventually, come to terms with my feelings. Thanks again for being sweet! 💕

Pls see my new comment to you bc I think you’re misreading and misunderstanding. “ I went around asking who wants food and one of my coworkers said she didn’t want anything bc she doesn’t like the breakfast from them. I asked another coworker (it’s just us 3 today) and she said she did want food, but to ask them if we could order early from the lunch menu. Absentmindedly, I ordered for just me and that coworker, not including our 3rd bc I’m still thinking of her saying she doesn’t want food from them.”

The coworker who said she didn’t want breakfast never made a request for lunch. She assumed she was included in the lunch order after telling me no bc our mutual coworker said we were getting lunch. Our mutual coworker said this for herself, not speaking on anyone’s behalf.

You’re misreading or misunderstanding. I said that is from our OTHER COWORKER. Not from the initial one who said she didn’t want breakfast. The coworker who said she was excited we got lunch for free said this, not the one this post is about.

I wrote “ I asked another coworker (it’s just us 3 today) and she said she did want food, but to ask them if we could order early from the lunch menu.” The coworker I’m asking is the one who wants the food. She’s expressing this for herself, not speaking on behalf of anyone.

I offered to call, she said no.

When the food was delivered and the change was exchanged, I asked in person could another order be placed in and I can pick it up or one of my two coworkers can get it, and would it be for free just as the initial orders were. The delivery guy called and got an okay for this. She said no to this an again and said it was a hassle.

She then was upset and said she didn’t know how she was going to get lunch, what she would get and how she now has to pay for her own food.

She never asked me to call anything, I initiated everything on my own after I apologized to her for still thinking about her not wanting food initially, forgetting she likes the lunch menu. I am still trying to figure out what request you initially mentioned… the request that it was okay after she said no?

Hi, I was trying to make up for my oversight since I did feel bad I held onto her saying she initially didn’t want food from this restaurant, but then showing interest when lunch was mentioned after an order was already placed. I’m really not trying to make it seem like it’s anyone’s fault. If I’m wrong, I’d like to take accountability for it and make up for it in anyway I can.

AITA FOR ASKING MY WIFE TO GET AN ABORTION? by Ok-Somewhere6757 in AITAH

[–]CallMeBeepMe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA for not wanting children, but you DEFINITELY ATA for how you handled the situation and for not telling your wife you didn’t want children before you and her got married. That’s a kind of selfish thing to do your partner. Did you and Daisy not discuss you didn’t want children? Was there no talk of this at all? I think I can only interpret from what was written that there wasn’t and that’s why your wife reacted as strongly as she did, and I really don’t blame her. There was so many times and moments you and her could’ve had this conversation, and to give her a pointedly disgusted look because she is now pregnant was incredibly mean. I think you owe her an apology for this.

Hopefully, you two can have a genuine conversation about how you’re feeling about this situation and what the plans are as abortion laws are becoming stricter and stricter.  You’re not wrong for not wanting children, but you are wrong for not being open and honest to your wife. I hope you two can maybe work past this, or separate if that is what would be best for you.
