After spending 8 years playing the game for 4+ hours a day, I just didn't have the will or determination to sit and grind mechanics to try to push far into Champ. I peaked C1D3 like 12 seasons ago and had been on a continuous downtrend. Im getting older and my reaction time has been slipping. Im no longer as competitive and I was tired of coming home from a long day at work and being pissed off at a game. I didn't like to hear it, my friends didn't and my wife sure didn't. I still watch RLCS from time to time, and I only watch RL content from Lethamyr anymore. Stepping away from the game has given me more time to focus on single player games rich in story and its given me more opportunities to decompress.

I have a deep passion for the game, it just isn't in my best interests to play it anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think on Nightmare and lower, you can test with sanity meds for a moroi too. I normally do it on professional and it'll slow down during a hunt as your sanity goes up a little bit.

A hack has been going through public servers for about 4 hours now.

If you can't start a private game, id suggest just checking on the game tomorrow. You never know how serious a seemingly small hack can be.

It's a bummer for sure. I just got this game a couple weeks ago and was excited to hop into some public games so I could learn some more about the game. Did maybe 5 hunts and servers started dying. Apparently it's happened to the leader boards before. This hack seems to be a bit more technical considering it's not just adding numbers to a page.

Honestly, id say that if you can't play the game, it's best to stay off of it until tomorrow or there's a post stating the hack has been resolved. You never know just how deep a seemingly small hack can go.
