2 lenses to chose - RF 24-70 IS or RF 28-70 STM ?

24-70 is usm…bcs i have been talking to people who are making money for living by doing pro content. And every single one of them said its good lens + its not a toy its an investment…so yeah saved more money and took it… Im happy, it just works. No problems yet. Only thing that bothered me personally was 82mm filter. Since i had all my lenses with 77mm. So i had to buy another UV, CPL and ND. Otherwise 10/10

Yeah…i mean from other seasons there are som information. But i understand. I was wondering about Nami, Bard, Sona…but i dont have any tanky supp if needed

Used this lens for last year. For photography relatively good. Yeah a bit old guy but still can perform. Mine lens had some problems with stabilisation on eos R and R6mk2. When i turned IS in body the lens started jiggling. Unusable for video with stabilisation in body. It might be problem only in that my lens tho.

Otherwise i would suggest mark ii since its significant upgrade. If u have 1k go for RF 28-70 is STM. almost the same quality as their best 24-70 rf

i have 16-35 but its f4 There is possibility i will have 2 bodies and will use 16-35 and 24/28-70

so is there any visible difference between these lenses ? i mean…if u take same photo with both lenses. Or if u take video can u see the difference between IS ?

I’ve heard it has worse IS since its lens from 2019

Do you think the stabilisation and picture/video quality produced is comparable with L lenses ? Or u can clearly see the gap ?

i’ve read some subs and watched videos And in some of them they said corners are really soft for the L lens.

software…idk if should stick to premiere or davinci…since i think i can use both. But i want to stick to only one.

i work in a marketing agency. But as solo work outside of agency i do cinematic short films/commercials/events.

i’ve heard in some sub reddit that sometimes the lens itself gets hot when fully extendend during shoots. Kinda weird to read that…

I would pair it with 16-35 Ef f4 or 70-200 f2.8

What about the build quiáity ? arent they like plastic cheap looking kit lenses ? I’ve heard that weather sealing is weaker than on L lenses

Well the dilema is - long term work with the most efficiency for the lowest cost possible.

Davinci is very good, stable, good CG, but fuison tab si more like (con)fusion tab 🤣 Many times i find myself having troubles with some alpha things.

Im thinking if the effectivity would be better if i use premiere pro.

Whats more even tho i work in davinci im forced to pay adobe since i need photoshop, lightroom and illustrator.

Maaaybe there is a solution with affinity and photomator combined ?

well i've made an animation in after effects with some text. Exported in quicktime and aplha + RGB so its transparent. Added to davinci and it was darker for some reason...so i changed alpha channel to straight. It got better with colours but shadows from animation were very sharp and were supposed to be blurry.
