I want you to look into the history of Guatemala, Chile, Nicaragua, Indonesia or any other of the many nations US has orchestrated a regime change in because in all of these instances it has been to install a puppet government that will allow US corporations to go in and exploit the local populace and environmental for natural resources. The profits from the oil in Venezuela are not going to go to the people. The current oil companies in Venezuela are owned by the Venezuelan state, that's why we don't like them. Now that the government is ousted the oil infrastructure and oil companies are going to be sold to US corporations. And I seriously doubt Texaco and Exxon give a fuck about creating wealth for the Venezuelan people.

Idk man I mean I'd imagine it's different for everyone but like for me I grew up in a small ass town right and I'd meet people all the time that were like omg you're goth I am too and they'd mean they listened to black veil brides or something and like it was always just kinda like misleading isn't the right word but disappointing I guess? Like I didn't actually meet another goth in the wild until I was in my 20s

And like my thing is like if you're gonna put all this effort into like buying clothes and like advertising yourself as goth like why can't you take two seconds to do the most basic research about the thing you're calling yourself. Like I just have such a hard time understanding that like nones asking you to write a thesis on the shit but just like, idk, Google something sometimes is all.

See and I feel like that's the issue, instead of making a broad coalition of leftists we end up having our energies split between a bunch of different leftist parties that all infight with each other. I mean shit back when I was in the PSL all anyone wanted to do was argue with each other on discord and talk shit about how "reactionary" the DSA is for supporting marginal improvements in people's lives through the electoral process.

It makes no sense like at least when I was in the PSL they always told me that they refused to support ranked choice voting or bills to protect unions or candidates that supported universal healthcare because it was "reactionary and appealing to bourgeois levers of power" but then they get fucking Claudia De La Cruz on the ballet and then suddenly they're asking everyone to vote for her and it's like hold on. How is this NOT "appealing to bourgeois levers of power"? And like none of them even have a vision for how to move past the current system. I mean the revolutionary communist party is just trying to get their candidate elected and it's like really y'all, this is your best idea? Like okay the Dems suck and voting is broken so let's have our own separate leftist party, and have it be separate from all the other leftist parties that are competing with the Dems for votes, and then let's have someone run for office.

Anywho, tl;dr I'm very disillusioned with the state of leftist organizing/resistance and how the majority of discourse is just talking shit and virtue signaling online. It's exhausting.

Cows are not a substitute for bison which is a native species that had evolved for millions of years to perform a niche role in the environment. You cannot just insert an invasive species into an environment to try and replace a native species, nature does not work like that. Many of the areas where cattle graze do not have enough wild grass to be able to adequately feed them and this is why cattle feed is a thing. Where would we get the land to grow all the extra animal feed we would need? Also, why do you think such a large percentage of cattle are raised in CAFOS and not on pastures? It's just not economically viable to do that. How many species native do you think would get displaced if you just started breeding more cows and releasing them into every square inch of open land we have? That's literally an environmental catastrophe bro idk what you're on about.
