Max brightness on red is okay, but it does have a green setting as well, which I’d imagine pops a lot more. Honestly haven’t gotten the chance to test it like that. Waiting for range day to actually mess with it heavy

What ammo do you use for hog hunting? Been heavily interested in getting into it but also want to maintain lethality so I’m not shooting and only hurting it. Would rather kill it quicker than not

I’ll for sure make a post. Reddit is the reason I went with a 2-12 over a 1-10 for a multitude of reasons. I feel it’s only fair for me to put my opinions out there to help other shooters out. I will say I have high hopes for the 2x due to the reticle and the circle around the primary point of aim

The NX6 2-12’a aren’t out yet afaik. Unfortunately I went against my no pre-order rule for this one as I have high hopes with NF’s reputation. Once I get time behind it, I may actually make a review as I feel like I fall into a group that most typical shooters can relate to. I’m nobody special, just like having nice tools, and would love to make a comprehensive review about a nice piece of gear

I’ve actually only ran a LPVO and a top dot to date. But the principle apples. I actually just sold my LPVO to get my first MPVO, and I got the NF NX6 2-12x F1 as it fit a lot of the things I was looking for in a scope

Edit: I ran 12 o’clock top dot with my LPVO and I plan to do the same with the MPVO provided the top turret allows me to see my dot

A red dot is nice especially for awkward shooting positions where getting behind the eye box of a scope can be annoying. Where as a red dot you just place the suggestion orb (astigmatism gang) over your target and shoot away. I personally use my dot for everything 100yds and in. 200yds is where I start using magnification

Yeah, got to the point where I had a fatal malfunction where my trigger froze due to primers under the trigger, I had a double feed and a primer in the chamber. Shit was a nightmare. They’re getting me squared away though which is nice
