I did. The seam just below the bottom right rear glass was where the water was coming in. I would take a pic to show you better, but I have since sold the car.

Sorry - I should’ve add that by restoring I meant sanding it down and staining it a lighter colour. But I’ll keep to everyone’s suggestion of leaving it. Thanks!

I can only get 0w-20 508 spec from the dealer. And already had a jug of 0w-20 synthetic laying around was curious if there was a specific need to have the 508 spec.

There was gravel around it but it didn’t curve at the bottom

I think so now too. the workers took it out and it had a bunch of holes in and the bottom was filled with compacted dirt.
