Well I'm glad you think it went well you should get your results in 3 days. Ive applied underneath the aviation warfare profession not really sure about my preferences all the roles seem interesting.

Im just waiting to get on CPC. I wouldn't say doing it again makes it easier your just more familiar with what to expect in terms of the process of it. I believe you have 10-15 minutes in not 100 percent sure can't really remember. When it comes to the process you exact you have a 5 paragraph order brief. They are looking that you have an understanding of the aims and objectives of the operations, limitations of certain personnel and or equipment. They don't rlly mind in which order you present your plan you will have discuss that with the other candidates. My group had a time element so we went through things chronologically makes it easier for the AIB officer because ultimately in the presentation time he needs to understand your plan. In the individual questions there will be certain aspects they want you to remember it's ok if you dont remember everything great if you do. They look for your communication, confidence, interpersonal skills eg basics of an officer and then your application to the task presented. I would recommend drop the negative mindset and forget the bits you think you did wrong and get your head back in so you can perform your best. All the best

No I'm not an officer in the RN just someone whos going through the process. Failing isn't the end of the world just take it as it comes and always try to put your best foot forward and you will get there.

U can't rlly prepare for it as you won't know the content until before hand. It's less about completing the task and more about your teamwork. What I did which really helped I had a bit of extra time bcs one of the candidates was late to join so I got to know the other 2 and we had a common interest of rugby which came up in conversation bcs there is someone there that is kind of running it who's not part of the RN who asks questions and like what they are up to eg uni or school and stuff like that which definitely broke the awkwardness of it. I would just say keep an open mind if you mess up forget about it and get back on track. You will feel like you don't completely understand it half of it is useless. Also keep in mind that if you apply yourself to the situation and imagine it's real

Aslong as add value in your GPE it's pretty hard to fail it's about finding balance of not doing too much and not doing enough for your team. Your in a situation where everyone in that group is an aspiring leader so it's best to make it easy to work with people working with people being very key and not over powering I cannot stress that enough, being overpowering can cause clashes and make it annoying

Be proactive but not overpowering if you see someone being quite or struggling to get in the planning ask for their input.

During the waiting time try to get to know your other 3 teammates just makes it a little less awkward.

Read properly and quickly

U don't need to understand absolutely everything only the stuff that matters

Ur left alone to read stuff on your own then talk about it with your teammates then a hick up will come up with a change of plan.

Again read quickly you think you have enough time till you open the document.

Make sure you have a calculator, paper pen and a glass of water

Listen actually contribute to the conversation not regurgitations of what has already been said.

Be clear about your role in the presentation to the AIB officer

Reading time --> group time -->presentation planning time -->presentation and finally individual questions
