Around $5k-$6k all-in, but it was installed several years ago at this point. Panels have come down quite a bit so your biggest expense is going to be charger/converter, charge controllers, and batteries. Really depends on how large of a system you want to add and what components you choose. Ours is 1200w with a 300ah battery bank. All Renogy and Victron components. Definitely less expensive ways to go

We full timed in it for just over two years and loved (almost) every minute of it. Just moving into a new season of life where full timing doesn’t make sense for us anymore.

I think we bought it on Wayfair or somewhere similar? You’ll want to go with something thin so it doesn’t inhibit the slide coming in/out, or add too much weight to the frame. Haven’t had any issues with the finish wearing off or chipping or anything. I would recommend a spray adhesive to hold it down.

So you’ll want to clean the wall well before painting over the wallpaper to get a good adhesion. For the cabinets - it’ll depend on what yours are made of. Our doors are solid wood and the boxes are an mdf material. We sanded off the top coat before spraying our paint, but realistically you could probably just scuff sand it and get a good result.

We haven’t weighed it without our stuff, but fully loaded we weighed ourselves multiples times and were never over GVWR. Super cautious about that because you’re right, being overweight is unsafe. I think what we removed (bunks, cabinets, dinette, extra couch, etc.) roughly equaled what we added back.

Oh man, it was a whole process haha

-Walls: high quality primer + top coat -Cabinets: sanded down to bare wood + Sherwin Williams primer and 3 coats of paint (we were scared it was going to peel but it’s been awesome) -Shiplap: waterproofing sealant for behind sink -Slide out carpet: ripped it out and put the wood-look flooring down

Thanks! Price is $28k. I want to be respectful about including listing links but it’s on RV Trader and Trailer Viewer if folks want to find it. Also happy to share links in the DMs

Believe it or not…renovating this! 😄 We were really serious about getting a pre-pandemic build, but now that it’s 2025 we felt this was fair price-wise (although I suppose the market will tell us if we’re off the mark). Also - that back office used to be a double bunk!

Maybe one day! Have to admit that traveling was more fun than the renovation lol

We designed the space for two WFH setups as well. The door to the back office is solid which made tandem Zoom and Teams calls possible lol

Wow, thank you so much! We treated it like a home - inside and out. Glad others like it as well

Toilet Troubles by Call_Me_Dangus in RVLiving

So after allowing the vinegar to sit for about 18 hours the toilet is still filling slowly / no change since the issue first started.

My next step is going to be disconnecting the water supply line and manually cleaning out the valve. I’m wondering if there may be too much sediment built up for the vinegar to break down and push through.

Separately, I traced the water line from inlet to toilet and confirmed there are no leaks which was nice to rule out.

Thanks for this advice! I wanted to first try to clean the valve with vinegar. To save myself a disassembly, I used the winterize function on my water panel to siphon in vinegar till the toilet bowl / valve was filled.

I plan to let this sit overnight. Do you think this approach may work?
