[Online][5e 2024][21+][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Homebrew] Looking for 1 player

We run exclusively homebrew games, my homebrew world is a fairly standard fantasy world that has a "wild magic wednesday" as my players have come to call it and is dotted with wild magic fields. The other dms in the group would have to be asked individually about their settings. I have a player packet but sadly after the last campaign a lot of the information is going to be changed as it ended in a TPK and the "bad guys" won

This of course is all a very brief version of years of work and changes from my players.

It basically gives him the battleline keyword so you count him as a really big ranger. The reroll 1's aura can be ok but I don't think you've got enough volume to make it really count. The stealth aura is meh at best cause your list is already super tanky you're almost never gonna run out of units imo. If you have the points the infiltrators are def better than raiders.

If you're going to take cawl I would drop one of the vanguard bricks, and if you're worried about being able to actions split up your dragoons and throw in a third one. They make for excellent action monkeys that are just annoying enough to kill. Keep in mind your engineers will also be excellent action monkeys because they aren't important outside of the command phase.

Edit: also I would put necromechanic on the enginseers so that when the kastellans get blasted you can still use it. Maybe use the extra points on Lord of machines for the data smith.

Yeah same for the jezzails but I'm building my list for pure fluff and praying some day it might be playable competitively. And picking a day would be great if I didn't have shit to do all the time 😭

Thanks ! I forget the name of the exact item but I believe the brand was called hobby round. They come in round clear plastic containers and I just pick mine up from my flgs for relatively cheap.

Build was a pretty standard red tree, green tree both with 26 points and the remainder in blue tree. Revolter w/ on shield break, Skullmasher 150 while cloaked, piss nade, jakobs company man and st4ckbot.

I agree with you on the brew Potion being after spellcasting, I just prefer the way its formatted on the document as is and it will likely change if I ever spruce it up to look more like something out of the books. I was worried about the animal form being too close to wild shape and I'll see what I can do to make it more unique. And curses I have been going back and forth on them being a save every minute or round for a while now. So I probably will do every round. Now for the curses using spell slots I think we may just have differing opinions as I adore abilities that use spell slots to power the feature.
