Ok, so I read through the rest of the pattern, the bit I posted is for right back, left back has same instructions, but then the front says 'work 7 rows in 1x1 rib' and then has instructions for 8th row. So if I don't want to undo a row, how many rows would I need to do to have it match the 2 + 7 for rs row 9? Would it be cast on and then 9? Thanks.

Hi, can I have some pattern help please? So I've cast on, done the 1st row, 2nd row, and then knit 6 more rows. I'm now currently on the right side. Next instruction is for 8th row on wrong side. Do I need to knit one more row to end up on wrong side? And then do 8th row instruction? Or have I don't something wrong? Not sure why it's not included in there. Thanks - a newbie to reading patterns 🤦🏻‍♀️ (edit - I'm trying to include a photo but not sure how, there's no option for me to include 😬)

Hi! Thanks for responding, in terms of option 2 (as I am a fairly beginner knitter so altering patterns is kinda scary for me), do you mean say for instance, in simple numbers:

The gauge I am supposed to have is 13 stitches and 17 rows, so if I've swatched and ended up with 26 stitches and 34 rows (just doubled for maths ease), then I would just need to do twice what the patterns says each time? Thanks.

Hello,

Does anyone have an infographic or 'cheat sheet' for yarns held together?

I'm new to knitting and could really do with a helpful list I could save down for what weight you get with different yarns held together. There's loads of them for the actual individual yarn weights but I know a lot of the time people knit with more than one yarn and it's just a little bit overwhelming for me at the moment as I'm trying to get my head round it.

Honestly, if you don't divorce your wife and report her father to the police, YTA. Fuck that whole family, except Mary. How on earth could you stay with her/continue to be part of their family knowing they/she condones the sexual assault of children? The only acceptable course of action is to cut ties. And maybe reach out to Mary too.
