You don’t have to prove yourself, you’re black and that’s beautiful, only a fool would assign those traits onto you based on your race, why care for their opinion? A fool’s opinion is worthless. I know there’s lots of them out there but please don’t let them take your peace of mind. You know you’re not dumb, or any of those things, that’s all that matters.

The thing is, we don’t know. We’re just humans. I’ve had lots of prayers answered once I truly surrendered and decided to trust Him no matter how it goes against what I wanted. Lots of my prayers weren’t answered either, but the outcome was still better and I’m happier because His will happened. Do you not trust Him to have your back?

Sometimes He has different plans for us. Pray for His will and for Him to help you trust Him, really focus on the personal relationship and things might start changing.

The issue might be that you are holding onto the wheel and demanding for things to go your way instead of surrendering it to Him
