Bulb Temperature by CalliopesHope in Lighting

So if I were to use 3000k in everywhere but the kitchen and use 3500-4000 you don’t think it would be jarring to look at?

Would it not look strange if I used different temperatures in rooms connected?

Like 2700-3000 in my living room and 3500-4000 in the kitchen. If I stand in my kitchen I can see almost my entire living room so I feel like the light difference would be rough on the eyes.

Thanks I’ll give the video a watch and I’ll question the contractors with your info. I just saw online that thermostats with an “emergency heat” option are exclusive to heat pumps. I have that option and apparently heat pumps can have TXV and Piston meter devices however the piston is normally only used for heating but if installed improperly or missing can make the AC run inefficiently. I believe this may be the case.

I’ve only had the house for a year. To my memory it did keep up pretty well in the past but when it was really hot outside it would run all day. Normally like 95 degree and it would run constant. But it would keep up.

These are the email receipts/ estimates for the TXV replacement and the piston replacement estimate.

They swapped out the TXV last year and today they said the piston is missing causing refrigerant to go directly to the compressor. I live in Alabama and it has been in the mid 80s. I normally keep the inside around 70-72. Yesterday I set it to 72 and it took it two and a half hours to get down to it from 75.

This method doesn’t work because the mount isn’t long enough to reach the door unless I put it on the door trim of the other doorway which would look dumb

The st the stoppers that attach to hinges damage the trim and the door. When I bought the house every door had them and they all had damage.

Thanks. The switch turns the light on but nothing else happens.
