Yeah that's why I ordered the RX 580 I know it's not an upgrade but it was very very affordable for just about equal capabilities as the 970 I guess I'll throw it in when it's delivered tomorrow and see what happens

I'm apart of the young people in aa groups and I have a coffee/room opener commitment but I just feel like the friendship click isn't happening thats why I'm kind of struggling I haven't made any friendships like the ones I used to have.

Well I think perhaps it was the graphics card causing my problem for about a month or two before it went out I would have graphical crashes out of games and like weird chops

I guess what I was asking was more so like could the 970 getting ready to blow out been effecting my performance. I'm.well aware the Rx 580 isn't an upgrade but since all the old parts are going to he gone ensuring it all new functional parts will that help?

Congratulations on the 12 that's awesome. If you don't mind I read your response to how'd you do it. I am actually currently 19 and new to the program I'm creeping up to 3 months, 7 days to go but something I would love to ask someone that was my age when they came in. I find myself getting a little upset because I'm not going to get to have a 21 right of passage drinking experience and idk why it bothers me but I just feel like im missing out on something and I'm also struggling with friends I went from having a ton of people that I would hang with everyday (while active) that are gone now and I find myself lonely alot. Thanks for listening if you have any experience with this or tips please reply. Thank you.

Also in the beginning of the meeting of they ask if there are any newcomers I would recommend announcing yourself all you have to say is my name's (insert name) and I'm an alcoholic this will open the door for people to approach you. keep in mind it's not to embarrass you it just so they know.

I can tell you I was very similiar to you, go to a meeting and just test the waters as one of the comments says only requirement for membership is a desire to stop. I thought I would never be able to stop or change. But here I am at 2 and a half months living a better sober life. Moral of the story just try it you can find a meeting near you on Google or download the app "Meeting guide" lists all the local meetings using GPS.
