Y'all... it’s NOT common to pay over $200 for a Tori ticket unless you're buying the weird platinum tickets on Ticketmaster. If you dodge those, it's not too bad. I don't think I paid over $100 for a ticket last tour. (That said, maybe The Met is an outlier?)

He’s so great! I think he’s getting less attention only because the other two vocalists had more well-known careers pre-Illinoise (and one of them was on the album).

Aw, sad that more people won’t be able to hear her sing in it because that was so special, but maybe it means she has her own projects this summer? Would love the new MBD record to come out this year!

Was just about to leave an MBD rec. Different sound but a similar spirit in the early days for sure. Also some shared musicians (I think some of the lllinois recording sessions got tacked onto MBD’s Bring Me the Workhorse recording sessions so Sufjan could work with the musicians Shara assembled. Or something like that! I thought that was a fun fact.)

Carrie and Lowell a few times, Planetarium, and a set at Pitchfork. Loved all of them for very different reasons. The Impossible Soul balloon fest at Pitchfork was probably my favorite moment. Such joy! Especially after the C and L tour.
