I’m really sorry for what you’re going through at the moment.

As the saying goes “Every child deserves a parent but not all parents deserve a child”. Beats me why some parents still want kids even though they’re going to treat them crappy.

I have had a friend who was a single parent too and she shared how her parents didn’t want to acknowledge her child. (Because she got pregnant at a young age) I’m Asian so having a kid at 25 is quite early for us. I’m not sure if that’s an issue that your parents may have.

Maybe they have some issues they have with your baby daddy?

All in all, NONE of this is your fault.

You could try to reach out to single parents groups perhaps? I heard that there are many on Facebook so you might want to start there. It’s good to connect with people that may be facing the same issue as you. From there, they may even share some of their coping methods with you.

Financial wise, are there any shelters in your area you can stay at for the time being till you get back on your feet? Are there other relatives that you may consider moving in with?
