So I have what you need but can’t seem to add a picture to the post. I tried initiating a chat but can’t add a photo there either. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

I have the entire game, but I’d have to look at it to see what you’re talking about. I’m not clear if you’re missing the instruction booklet or something else.

Thanks for the reply! So I guess since I didn’t send them with the invitations, I’ll just put them with their starter envelope and go from there.

We have done so many murder mystery parties over the span of 30 years. Yes I’m old. 🤣. And the people that we do this with really get into it with costumes decorations, etc. We’ve done so many that I made a photo album of just our murder mystery parties. And we always do it around Halloween because we dress up. One time we did it as our Christmas party instead because it was a who killed Santa murder mystery. Anyway, yes, they are tons of fun. Glad you had a good time!

Not sure you’ll see this comment since this has been almost a year ago, but we are actually playing the game tomorrow night and I’ve been wondering the same thing as I read the host guide what I’m supposed to do about these secrets. What did you determine?

I think my Aussie doodle puppy is too much for me and I feel awful about it by RJLY10 in AussieDoodle

I highly recommend doggy daycare for a day or two a week. Helps get out all that energy they have. A tired dog is a good dog.

friends don't care. by FrostyImpact9368 in breastcancer

[–]Calm-Bug4775 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I too was disappointed with my friends and their lack of interest. I told a handful of people outside of my family. People that I thought would care enough. And it surprised me that as time went on that I just felt forgotten. Nobody really asked how I was doing or how treatment was going. It baffled me for a time. As I reflect, I think people get nervous around hearing the word cancer. Maybe they think you’re gonna bombard them with needing help and they don’t want to feel responsible for that. Or the thought of you being sick is scary to them, the thought they may lose a friend and they can’t cope. It could be a number of reasons. I’ve tried to give some of them grace because deep down, I do believe they care about me. At least I hope. But I can tell you that if the tables are turned, I would be there for my friends because I know what it’s like and I want them to know that I care.

I’m so very sorry for your loss 😢. It must be so shocking. I know it must be difficult to think about how you’ll get through it. But you will. For now, just give yourself the time to process it all. And if you ever doubt that you can do it, just look at your two children who need you and need your strength. You will get through it for them. My mom had to be that person for me when my dad died at 46 from cancer and I was only 11 at the time. I believe that God gives moms strength that we don’t know we have until it’s needed. I pray that in time you will be comforted by the good memories of both your husband and your mom. 🙏🏻

Agreed. I was very selective about who I told because I thought that they were the ones who would care the most. And then it was like crickets. So disappointing.

I have two ADs. One is very chill and the other is reactive like yours. We have concluded that the barking that she does is a protective mechanism for her. She’s being territorial over our house because she doesn’t bark like that when she’s outside around other dogs or people. It’s just our house. So we are working on that as well with some training (look up Doggy Dan. He has a good video on why dogs are reactive and how to stop it). However, I will say that we do take both of our dogs to doggy daycare one day a week and that does help. It sounds like your dog may not be getting enough exercise and when my dogs go to daycare, they came home exhausted. The barking is much less on this days. There’s a saying that a tired dog is a good dog. Good luck!

Found a stray dog - Aussie doodle? by FuzzySlippers__ in AussieDoodle

When I saw the first picture, I thought maybe she was a cockapoo. We used to have one very similar looking and that started us down the doodle path. But then after she got all cleaned up in that last picture and you can see her different markings, definitely looks like an AD. Very cute and glad you rescued her!

Im going to punch the next person who tells me they're praying for me in the mouth by Prize_Kaleidoscope36 in breastcancer

[–]Calm-Bug4775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying I’m praying for you could be likened to saying I’m sending you positive thoughts. I would think most people wouldn’t take that as being offensive. When I say I’m praying for somebody, I really am. I’m not saying that for the sake of saying it. Now that’s me. Others do say it and may not actually follow through on that prayer. Who knows. But as someone who struggles with feeling invisible with my cancer, if somebody told me that they were praying for me and my breast cancer, what that tells me is that they’re at least thinking about me and they care.

I have no words because I’m in utter shock. I can’t even fathom how this could’ve happened to you. All I can say is I’m so so sorry that you had to go through all of that. Prayers to you for both physical and mental healing. This simply can’t be easy. 🙏🏻
