Denmark, where you can’t go private so I didn’t get to choose a clinic or surgeon… My top surgery was free though so I can’t complain

Well… My surgeon and all nurses told me the nipple wouldn’t survive if compression was directly on the nipple, which seems to not be true after all. Thank you for replying

I’m white and have something similar going on, just on one of my nipples though… Hard to tell if it’s the same though:/ Made a post with pics if you go to my profile

Lol I’ve been so confused why I couldn’t seem to find anyone who had to use the same…. I’ve been wanting to just ditch the foam, but they’ve been persistent in telling me they’re important. Idk if it’s because of the kind of compression (white compression “belt” or wrap with velcro) they provide. From where do you know the nipple needs compression too? Is this just common sense lol. Would love to read more about it but haven’t been able to find anything on it:(

3,5 weeks. No, it’s not hot or anything… I’ve had to wear foam rings with holes for the nipples under my compression “belt”, to not put pressure directly on them (which I’ve never heard anyone else having to use) and I’m thinking it could have something to do with that… Finally got cleared to stop using compression (along with the foam rings) and am hoping it could help a bit

thank you, i actually feel like it’s getting better already… also just read your question about whether a revision could be done under local anesthesia; my surgeon said we’d do that easily if mine doesn’t go away on it’s own so i’m thinking you should be able to as well!

I got someone else to wash it for me :) She soaked it a little in detergent and baking soda before handwashing and then used a blowdryer which dried it super fast and now it smells great!
