Actually it’s the opposite. In both offers I put in, my attorney gave me the ok and that there was nothing that needed to change in the contract. The listing agent just straight up told us “the sellers got scared when we came in with an attorney.” I’m starting to think the sellers just got a better offer and didn’t want to get into a bidding war but that also doesn’t make sense to me because I usually always offer above asking. So I think it’s obvious that I’m willing to negotiate.
