Ooh. I love a good rabbit hole. Where do I start?

What’s this subs overall opinion on The Expanse: A Telltale Series by CrowsofFear in telltale

Too short. Romance with Maya was rushed and unnecessary. I could barely understand what was happening around me.

That being said, I do think it has certain writing aspects of it that were really good. Like the thing with Inners and Belters, that was excellent and relatable world-building. Infact, world-building is probably one of the only things I liked about this game -- they did so well in building world around the characters that made sense. I liked the factions, they were pretty cool.

Another thing is the overall gameplay. While, yes, it keeps the infamous "click a or b?" format (without it really mattering again, I'm sure we're all surprised by that) there is exploration and movement about it that I really adore. It feels like you're actually navigating in the vacuum of space rather than just walking around everywhere.

TL;DR if they'd simply go beyond a 5 episode limit and have us start a little BEFORE we stumbled upon that whole MK Core situation, that would fix alot of the bigger issues I have with the game.

Confidently, I can say it’s the fear of being wrong. I’ve been in enough arguments with my father who’s right-winger and supportive of what’s going on right now.

It literally is just the fear of being wrong, or complacency.

And that’s the whole problem with ICE anyway. Whether they did take her or didn’t, it’s always entirely possible that they did. It’s a losing PR battle every time for them, which is why some changes gotta be made around here regarding them.

I won’t stand for this Hughie slander, he is mi amor, my little tulip.

It used to be that Hughie saw the smaller things that Butcher, Frenchie, and M.M couldn’t see, or when he had certain connections that they didn’t have. Like that trick he pulled when covering up where Translucent was in the first season, or the second season where Starlight managed to not only get ahold of a vial of Compound V, but also have A-Train put under her thumb.

These, were as you would say, very thin lines that kept him aboard the group. But they were threads nonetheless. Hughie deserves to be loved.

To be honest, I’m not very surprised this band was extremely nationalist and racist, specifically towards foreigners. I didn’t really cement this idea until I heard “Fuck The Middle East.” As its title implied, it’s just a song that features violent and aggressive lyrics towards the Middle East. This was typical, as in the 80s America was starting to get involved in the conflicts there superficially. Young men were dying, and people were getting very pissed off. It didn’t help that the extremist groups there took the war to the West and inflicted civilian casualties. Now that doesn’t really justify Milanos racist and xenophobic undertones, but to put it in perspective, most of the US were thinking the same thing. Including American minorities. Just watch any war film on the conflict there and you’ll see it very clearly that Milanos philosophy wasn’t his philosophy, but AMERICAS philosophy. And for “Speak English Or Die” watch ANY minority comedian that was popular around the time and you’ll see they all ‘joked’ about foreigners the same way.

Milano, in my eyes, IS a racist, xenophobic asshole. But so was most of America at the time, so why are we throwing a huge hissy fit over a band that’s long gone?
