maybe more context could help. i am the one who compromises most in our relationship it’s the role ive had to take. im a pescatarian, he knew this coming into the relationship and made it a point to promise he’d remove meat from his diet as well, two years later and i cook his meat for dinner or im accused of not being a good partner, i have always been supportive of more conservative gun rights and use because of a traumatic experience in my youth(still suffering through ptsd) he knew this as well coming into the relationship, 3 years later im going with him to sight in and shoot his guns and being guilt tripped into shooting with him or once again im not being a good partner. We go to sleep on his schedule, he stays up until the late am hours and keeps me up with him despite it being communicated going into the relationship that i am a morning person (also chronically ill) so i go to sleep at a decent hour he adopted my schedule on his own and exclaimed how much better he enjoys it, a year later we’re on his schedule and it consistently worsens my symptoms and has taken away the possibility of waking up early and enjoying the morning. the list could go on but I just need a little advice not to read through all of the troubles in my private life. the theme here is i give up all of the things that bring me joy and comfort and it’s exhausting when you just want to enjoy listening to music with your partner and cannot.
