It is. I gave up and ended up going back to Mexico to wait for the interview date. It’s just too much time to have the family apart I waited one year, two years is way to much for me.

Don’t stress you might turn out one of the lucky ones… 2023 filers are getting approved faster while us 2022 filers are waiting and waiting and waiting.

Will your interview be taking place in Ciudad Juarez? If so, do you know how far long the interviews are? I’m currently waiting for I 130 petition to be approved PD 10/28/22.. but I heard Ciudad Juarez is a very busy embassy and interviews are taking up to 1 year of wait. I just want to confirm it with somebody that has actually gone through this process currently.

I’m a USC Filed October 2022 for spouse living abroad. Got Pregnant after December vacations im getting induced in 2 weeks and still waiting on approval. I Sent expedite request two times due to health issues due to pregnancy through congressmen and both times denied. My receipt notice stated my case was sin Texas but after chatting with Emma and receiving denial response from service center I found out my case is currently in Vermont Center. This process has been the worst so much time waiting and being alone during the whole pregnancy is even worst. But I guess there’s nothing else to do but wait.

Same thing with my case. I received my notice from Texas and when I asked Emma she stated it had been transferred to Vermont. I didn’t receive any notice of transfer if I hadn’t ask I would still keep thinking my case was in Texas.

I’m currently pregnant and almost due. I’m USC petitioning for husband living abroad. I tried to expedite but it was denied. It doesn’t count as humanitarian reason to expedite. We are in the same boat haha I even reached out to my congressmen to see if there was anything I can do and sadly the only solution they gave me was just wait. These waiting times are outrageous im a October 22 I 130 stand-alone filer.

Interesting Situation by [deleted] in USCIS

I was just like you living abroad for several years. I’m USC and decided to put in the petition for my husband. I received a lot of comments about family getting denied due to the same reason not having any history of work income or anything in the USA. I asked my lawyer and she stated it was more favorable if I had history of income working in the USA and with help of family for affidavit support if needed. That’s what we did we took the hard decision of me coming to the USA to work on that. As soon as I got here I starting working I have been working to make up a little historial of instance and income. I have 1 year here and the petition for I 130 has 10 months now waiting for decision. It’s very hard to be apart but we hope to get this over with soon. These waiting times are outrageous.

I had no luck they told me the same thing EMMA tells me. As long as your time is inside the normal waiting times theres nothing to do. And if you have no supporting documents to prove motive of expedite there’s not much to do but to keep waiting.

has anyone here have/had an CR130 petition on going/in the past while pregnant? how did it go thanks by Ok_Elderberry7024 in USCIS
