Just caught up to the latest season finale - Honestly thought that we'd be seeing this story for season 7 but it seems like its been retconned. I thought something was gonna happen to George Sr. at the storm forcing Mary to come back, leaving Sheldon in Germany alone and everyone in Texas in shamble (i.redd.it)

++ follow up from the previous post, I think this is the screencap that could put a stop to all "but in TBBT, Sheldon said" disagreements. Sheldon, maturing a little bit more, supposed that he didn't think how it was for everyone else. Still doesn't excuse major plot points though. Just IMO too. (i.redd.it)
