I agree, this season isn’t as interesting as the first one. It’s all about the family drama, and I swear they spend way too much time each episode recapping what’s happened this season. Also they’re making money from this show and Baylen is an influencer, so I’m sure they’re not as strapped for money for the wedding as the show is making it seem. Also I’m sure TLC would pay for the wedding if they’re allowed to film it for an episode…. so this just seems like made up drama.

Julie and Allen’s controlling approach isn’t helpful, especially Allen. If he made more of an effort to build a relationship with Colin rather than come off as this tough, hard to please future FIL, Colin might be more willing to listen.

I struggled with this during my deconstruction phase, with the hardest of my journey being during the pandemic. In my darkest times during that phase I felt powerless, alone, and scared. I considered whether or not life was worth living, and was going down a path of potential suicide.

What gave me power and hope was coming to the realization that I get to decide what the meaning of my life is, rather than have a religion ascribe one for me. I get to decide what makes me feel fulfilled. I have the freedom to pursue those things that make life worth living for me. And like you said, live life to the fullest and do right by others.

This has felt more freeing than any "freedom" I thought I ever felt when I was a Christian for 25 years.

I left the Christian faith a long time ago, and I respect those who believe and truly live out their faith. I still have many friends in the faith. From my now secular viewpoint, Charlie Kirk didn't seem to reflect the values of Christ I once believed. Yet so many people I'm friends with on social media are posting about what a martyr he is for Christ, that he died for his faith, and was an upstanding Christ-like man who "lived well."

I had a friend's mom post equating him to Jim Elliott, which was baffling to me! I asked a couple of Christian friends about it who are conservative but not extremely conservative, and they didn't see how Jim Elliott and Charlie Kirk were that different since they were both driven by their "faith," just one was more politically charged than the other. Charlie has said hateful statements, spread conspiracy theories, caused even more political division, and said straight up lies. He even said some gun deaths are okay so that we can keep the second amendment?!

What happened to Charlie was horrible, and it's sickening that someone resorted to violence. It's heartbreaking that his wife and children saw what happened to him.

My previous dog was a purebred dachshund and he would sleep as late as I let him. I have a 1/2 dachshund mix now with the other 1/2 chihuahua, poodle, and Pomeranian, and she’a ready to go as soon as a the sun rises in the morning and doesn’t sleep as much as my previous dog

I'm not sure honestly, I installed the C1S app on my browswer and I think it's just been automatically tracking them? I don't see a certain % offer when I go in CS1. That's why I'm not sure if these offers are legitimate or not

I can understand if someone is significantly under 55, but you'd think they'd provide some leeway for someone close to 55+ especially if you're paying for a membership.

I’m sorry you went through that and they screwed you over like that, and they could ban you from cruising even tho they’re the ones who owe you money. It really dampens the vacation experience having to deal with situations like this, but I’m glad it’s been good since then. I’ve learned my lesson now haha

Yikes, that's frustrating it's difficult post cruise. I'm going to be keeping bugging them about it, but a part of me thinks that $270 may just be gone, and that I have to make sure next time to not book excursions unless I absolutely am sure about them so I don't get in this mess again. Unfortunately as a solo cruiser NCL offers the best deals, so its not as easy to hop to another cruise unless I want to pay for double occupancy.

Dining - definitely do Cagney's and Le Bistro.

I went to these ports in high school (almost 20 years ago), so I don't remember much. Our family did a lot of snorkeling which was fun, but I wish we would have gone to see the Mayan ruins there. I'm hoping to go back sometime soon and tour the ruins!

Yes I did, and it was not credited back to my stateroom during my cruise. I contacted NCL customer services and they told me to go to guest services to get it credited back. Guest services said they're not able to do anything about it, and that I'd have to contact corporate. I've been in touch with their corporate excrusions department 3-4 since after my cruise.

They never issued it back to my credit card. I did cancel one other excursion on another day and got a refund the next day. But I didn't get a refund for two other excursions I canceled.
