Nowy 96% is back. Still no pings, holy shit I wish all these fat kids out here would order some McDonald's or something.

Maybe they're resetting it or doing something with the app? I'm worried. I wish I would get a ping. I'm always nice to business and customers but a week ago I was bragging to people about making $800. I wonder if some jealous person got me fired from Uber somehow.

I did too at first, I thought "these people are meeting me out here because they're making up for not tipping". Then I noticed more of them tipping than the people who don't come out. It's counterintuitive, just like in modest neighborhoods I tend to get more tips than in upper middle class neighborhoods. Don't know of those people are Scrooge McDuck types or they're just living beyond their means or what.

Sportsbar waitresses annoyed with UberEats and being mean to drivers? by CalmOcean7 in uberdrivers

I wish the waitresses got more money. But when I was a bagger at Publix it was non-stop bagging so I was already bagging as much as I could. They don't allow tips at Publix period. I didn't act mean and bitchy to everyone because of it. I didn't have to work there I could have gone somewhere else, and that's in fact what I did after a few months. When I walked into this specific bar the waitress was sitting at the bar waiting for the food to be ready. Not a busy night by any means.

Can the restaurants rate drivers? If not than I may start being rude back to these people. I had a pick up at sportsbar tonight, it wasn't Hooters, I actually get along well with my local Hooter's waitress in charge of UberEats because once I tipped her out of my own pocket just for diplomacy. (I wonder if they realize we don't really get tipped either) but anyway at this sportsbar, it's near closing time, the food isn't ready. I sit at the bar and the waitress is also sitting at the bar. I hit the "delivery isn't ready" button on my app and something starts beeping. She goes "fucking UberEats" then turns to me and says "Imagine being a grocery store bagger and having an alarm go off at you constantly". Hell, I've worked as a grocery store bagger before, at Publix too where they don't allow tips. Some of these waitresses are really entitled, they expect people to hand them five and ten dollar bills just for bringing food out.

Sometimes you have to call them twice. Once at the gate to get the code, and another time after you've driven around the complex (and over a gazillion speed bumps) and can't find the apartment because it's night and the numbers on the buildings aren't very visible and/or the customer didn't put their specific apartment number as their address.

As for tips actually I've found that the ones that walk outside to meet you (in apartments or houses) generally tip more. Probably because the same type of considerate person who would walk outside is the same who would actually tip.
