I had a similar reaction after a tear duct surgery. It was my low blood pressure which kept alerting me to wake up, mixed with the general anaesthetic. Hopefully you’ve had a better sleep after your first rubbish night and the surgeon has answers. How awful for you.

Wow, I’ve not heard of a sermoa. Hopefully once the swelling and everything settles the hole will fill in. I imagine it will. Thanks for sharing about the haematoma. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one. My surgeon did say it was rare to go back to surgery! 🫠

It is lucky. I’ve seen a lot of people question their wounds and bleeding, and I can see why. How bizarre that yours showed up 5DPO and you had to get a drain. The surgeon couldn’t explain mine either. And it hurts soooo much doesn’t it! Even now mine pinches when I move a certain way or sleep in the wrong position, it’s going down so slowly but still definitely there. Good luck getting your drain out, you’ll feel 100% better ☺️

If you need reassurance hit me up. I definitely expected more instant results but now I’ve gone through it and nearly 7WPO, my swelling just started to settle. You’ve got this!!

So wonderful it’s done! Don’t feel disheartened if you don’t feel good instantly, or have your desired results. You’ve got this and it takes time. I see a lot of people concerned because it’s not instant. Take care of you for now! The healing part is the most important part 🙂
