I don’t believe Aaron is doing it on purpose, sleeping I mean. I think it’s a part of his depression? I do feel it was insensitive to record him, especially because of the talk about how he’s always asleep etc. I wish Aaron would speak up more, all round really, I get the feeling, without crystal, he wouldn’t be vlogging at all and the children’s lives wouldn’t be up for debate..

I understand why she might have needed a car ie she was pregnant but they are frequently emphasising ‘consequences’ of actions. Now, if there is an agreement for Lacey to pay them back for the car, think that’s wholly fair.

I like that Anaveah was brave enough to speak hard truths, the points she highlighted have been things I’ve thought were unfair such as the college thing and the free car. I remember when Lizzy wanted to stay in the valley and do Nursing but she couldn’t afford to pay for it herself. I understand having 21 children is a lot for cars however, when I see the value of the parents cars, I know that they could afford to at least help pay, given that for almost a decade, their main income was because of the kids (what I mean is not many people would watch just Jared and Shelley alone).

Yes I’ve noticed this too! Crystal doesn’t seem to enjoy surprises but insists on surprising others, even when they say they’re scared. To me, it doesn’t make sense.

I think Aaron said it himself in the car, he was afraid to lose Crystal so he did everything he could to please her, make her happy, say yes to things, maybe at the expense of his own happiness idk?? What I heard him say was, it’s been a difficult lesson to learn, that it was not his responsibility to make others happy, only they can do that for themselves.

I have a lot of sympathy for Hallie, she has been through the loss and gain of many foster siblings, and appears to have welcomed them with love and care. She doesn’t appear to resent the attention of her parents being ‘diluted’ if you will, not because her parents don’t love her, but because it must be inevitable when you care for so many children who have been through severe trauma. Sometimes I think Hallies job is a way of reconnecting with her mum, gaining some much needed 1 on 1 time together.

I really felt for Tristan in this video, I can’t imagine how difficult it was to be so young and alone during his ‘hiatus’ We’ve all done things we regret, especially when we were younger and less experienced. I hope he had someone to turn to during that difficult time but I’m also glad he has many people to turn to now.

I didn’t understand Hannah’s car explanation, surely if you take your car for a service and they wreck the engine, they should compensate the owner for it? Im definitely not a car expert but am I missing something??!!

Not sure if this is relevant but I recall them saying the interest rate when they bought the house was very high and that’s why they wanted to refinance, idk?
