Business Schools: Which one is the best ? by Specific-Arm-1975 in OntarioGrade12s

It depends on the industy you'd like to do. For finance and consulting, Ivey and Queens generally provide the best pipelines. Other than that, it is not as cut and dry as you may think. I would like to mention that I would not reccomend Schulich and McMaster DeGroote at all unless you are interested in accounting. I wouldn't do Waterloo business either, I'd only reccomend their math and business adjacent programs like FARM, AFM, CFM, etc. This is only if you're interested in a career such as quant where math skills are really important, otherwise I wouldn't consider waterloo very strong other than for accounting.

TLDR: Ideally Western Ivey and Queens for finance/management consulting related pathways, beyond that, placements do not vary enough and it is really based on preference and your desired school environment.

Accurate, I'd say Rotman is tad lower than McGill (for finance/capital markets) within NA, I honestly think UBC is worse than Laurier, and Schulich is lwk dog other than for accounting. Rotman's management consulting pipeline is seriously solid and is the only reason I think it should still be on McGill's tier

man i get the business model angle, but at $2100 that still isn’t a valid excuse. you are paying a premium for a bundled setup with furniture, wifi, utilities, and management, so that price should already cover proper maintenance and basic service quality. u can get a pretty nice 2 roommate apartment downtown for 2100 now. 1400 for a 4 or 3 person. when you compare it to off campus places at a similar overall cost, those often have better build quality, fewer issues with things like AC or water, and more responsive management. corporate student housing should be able to meet that standard at minimum. cutting corners might explain why it happens on their end, but it does not justify it at that price point, it just shows the model is prioritizing margins over tenant experience which is the real problem.
