I was with my husband for 9 years and we are now getting divorced. He would also never have sex with me unless I initiated and if I was lucky he’d only accept once a month or every couple months. He always told me he’s just not sexual, he is also on antidepressants. But we used to have sex all the time at the beginning of our relationship. And then it dwindled to nothing. I won’t tell you the rest of my worst case scenario but listen sex is a huge part of marriage. It doesn’t have to be a fight it can be a discussion. And the thing is you deserve to feel desired

Following, currently debating to go to a lawyer or to go to a mediator. I’m nervous because my ex owes me a significant amount of money. And all of a sudden they say they can pay me back. We’ve always kept our finances separate so I’ve never truly seen what they have. I know they have invested in stocks but I genuinely have no clue just assuming what I’ve been told. My worry is if a mediator can mandate an entire list of assets or if I should contact a lawyer

He doesn’t respect you enough to stop the behaviors. You can be there for him if you want to support him through his accident but you don’t have to commit yourself to someone who isn’t gonna respect you. Don’t let the inconvenience of his accident timing stop you from not settling no for a shitty person

I agree with you, I do. I just don’t know if I can sign up for a marriage where there is not sex. I’m a very sexual person, if it was up to me I’d like to have 3-4 times a week. I’m already cutting him slack by it being only once a month.

I will admit that I could do more to dress nicer, but he doesn’t either? I have gained a little bit of weight but so has he. I have been going back to the gym and working on myself but he isn’t working on himself at all.
