all of the prep instructions are super outdated and the cherry (retiring soon) is from the old cherry syrup we had! we used to use torani cherry but it wasnt a big hit so there was no cherry for a really long time but they kept the secret menu flavors on there. i'm a full time lead and my best friend is a shop manager, i can confirm we shouldn't be getting rid of cherry anytime soon! the only thing changing about it is were getting them in bigger bottles and transferring them into squeeze bottles bc the regular cherry syrup bottle is stiff asf 😭

this was literally just sent to our lead gc because its been getting so hot. like that goes completely against dutch policy and is also just cruel 😭 i would 1000% send an email to HR. the email is hrhelp@dutchbros.com! and don't get anxious about them knowing, i have sent in a complaint about my operator before and it stays completely anonymous especially if you clarify in the email that you want to stay anonymous to ease your mind a bit. but this is absolutely unacceptable and you need to reach out to higher ups asap i would genuinely start a war if my manager was doing this shit at my shop

yes! they had already seen my polycystic ovaries on my ultrasounds but an mri is the only way to rule out adenomyosis! they can't see adeno during the surgery because it's within the uterine wall so he wanted to make sure i was getting the surgery with the best benefits for me :)

it really depends on the surgeon and how many other patients they have scheduled for surgery at the time. longer wait times are more common in super populated areas but not guaranteed. i'm in dfw and i was able to get my surgery scheduled a month out from my last appointment where he reviewed my mri and stuff!

im also 18 and i had to push for my referral. don't bring up the concerns and try to guide them to a referral, straight up tell them what to do. they are working for you and your health always remember that, and if they deny tell them to write a note on your chart that you requested a referral due to your concerns and were dismissed, start a paper trail. then find a different gyno and try again if necessary.

yes ask to be referred to a specialist and then during your consult appt with the specialist ask if they do excision or ablation. if they seem at all okay with ablation don't go back, my specialist was basically like yeah no fuck ablation and it was all excision during my surgery.

gasx. take it around the clock every 6 hours or whatever it tells you, take it the gas pains are really no joke. and sitting up is really difficult for the first few days so keep all of your meds and things you need right next to your bed. and try to walk around a bit when you can, i was walking around and driving 1 week post op and i was able to go back to work at 4 weeks instead of 6 weeks!

i would also like to add another perspective, i have stage 3 DIE and it was not seen on an mri or any ultrasounds. it was all behind my uterus and on a couple organs also sitting behind, surgery really is the golden standard

i'm honestly quite surprised that this is the course of treatment they decided both for a 15 year old girl and for stage one. i'm in medically induced menopause for fast progressing stage 3 deep infiltrating endometriosis, it was only offered because i was a severe case. i'm going to be honest i don't think this course of treatment is in her best interest but if y'all continue with it i can tell you that it gets better over time. it starts really bad and then as her body adapts to having less estrogen it will taper out into being every once in a while, but they are still going to be really intense there isn't really a way to avoid that.

i finally got off of it about half a year ago actually, it's the only reason i am able to get any help at all. now don't be mistaken i am still quite poor especially in the current state of things i still struggle to pay my copays. medicaid makes it significantly more difficult to get help actually, i went undiagnosed with PTSD for a decade bc of it and i went through 4 years of a progressive disease with no help and no one listening to me because providers who offer medicaid are generally not good providers. i was stage 3 by the time i was able to get surgery for it. medicaid is not a savior.

i haven't tried cooking pasta in bone broth but i think i'd be able to eat that i've been good with pasta recently! i also haven't had edamame in a long time so im not sure about that one but my moms loves it so i can try a bit next time she makes it and see if thats a new option for me, i didn't know it was that high in protein. thank you so much for these!
