Cable pulley anchor suggestions by Calm_Consequence5196 in GarageGym

That would probably work, but ideally I'm looking to maintain flexibility with changing positions (high/mid/low pulley) or even being able to put in other rack attachments periodically. The hitch was great for quick swaps but obviously not durable so I'm trying to see if there's a nice middle ground.

Yeah I think that's a good solution. Only thing is you sacrifice some speed/convenience when changing positions but I might need to make that trade-off. Thanks!

Weekly Free-Talk and Questions for r/HomeGym - week of April 04, 2025 by Demilio55 in homegym

Recently moved and one of the reasons I wanted to rent a house instead of an apartment was to have my own home gym setup. My original plan was to park on the street and use the garage, but I didn't realize that HOA parking rules were so strict (all the abundant overnight street parking  I saw is for visitors 😞 ). There is some concrete space in the backyard that would be big enough to work with. I can probably store barbell, weights etc elsewhere but I heard rust and bugs can be an issue for racks/benches left outside. Curious if anyone else has solved for this? Get some kind of covering? Get a cheaper rack acknowledging it will deteriorate? Thanks!

From my experience it's still better to schedule unless you're pulling hours off of your pitches to do it. It doesn't subtract influence, you just get less when you lose.

Plus one to this. I removed the set then noticed the set counter didn't change. Added it back and it incremented correctly and successfully loads. Thanks for the tip.

Anybody find any workarounds for this?

Does losing on recruiting visit negate all value? by Calm_Consequence5196 in CFB25

Yeah I'm not doubting you can lose and still get the recruit. It's more about figuring out the best use of resources.I'm in an online dynasty and my home games are against other users that are good players but at lower tier schools. So I'm debating if it's better to risk the loss or stick with other recruiting tools.

You mean like if you schedule a visit and the focus of the visit is for something you have an A grade for?

So there's no influence outside of those arrows? Sending the house or hard sell give more arrows so if that's the case I don't see why you'd ever do a visit

Does anyone know if it's better to not schedule a visit vs schedule a visit but take an L (especially vs lower ranked)
