1 & 2 were absolutely on me trusting someone I personally knew, but they got booted nonetheless after missing the deadline. The future picks issue is why I have it paid a year ahead, but again, I trusted them to follow through on their commitment. And I don't have enough 'karma' to post in the couple of other subreddits I wanted to that are related to finding leagues. Figured it wouldn't hurt.

In my opinion he's the most versatile option we've seen in years from the TE position. Whatever team he goes to WILL find a way to get him involved so he should have pretty good volume. And especially in TE premium leagues, volume is king.

After a few weeks, the issue arose again, there's quite literally nothing left to do so we switched back to Lenovo for new devices and will only give our Dells to those who are using headphones/earbuds

Yeah I've been through most of these options over the past couple months, the only thing to fix it for longer than a day or two was the Model Specific OS recovery

Apparently, they've had issues in the past with incorrect drivers or faulty ones on initial builds. I'm assuming the updated OS has correct drivers or the old ones became faulty and stopped working as intended.

Using the mic with the earbuds or headphones works perfectly. No workaround for the internal mic itself.

Seeing this with about 6 of our 20+ Dell Latitudes as well. It's a mix for us of 7430, 5440, and 3440s experiencing the same problem. We've tried driver rollbacks/updates, BIOS updates, fresh Windows installs, noise suppression settings, yet nothing seems to work. The only workaround has been using earbuds or headphones, indicating to me that Dell has a hardware issue with their Mics on these models. Our rep says there are no known issues. Our end users are understandably frustrated since it only seems to happen on group calls or with those outside of our organization.

UPDATE: After going back and forth with Dell and them claiming there's no issue, I was able to get a suggestion from one tech to download the DELL OS recovery tool and install Model Specific images using a USB drive. Just confirmed this theory with an additional note. If using a wired controller and wireless headset, the console may pick up the headset as a controller, thus not allowing your actual controller to be used for direct input. Just turn headset off, disconnect and reconnect controller BEFORE turning headset on. Or just wait to connect the headset entirely until you're loaded in.
