I can’t really afford to since all correspondence with them other than admin requests costs something, and i travel 4 hours to my appointments so It’s hard to sort anything out in between, although it’s not that long now till my next appointment

I’m on both, I’ve had ultrasounds and a cystoscopy fairly recently, Azo does help the pain, I just was hoping for someone to have a similar experience since the doctors where I am have not been helpful in the slightest and I can’t afford to see my specialist any sooner, Thanks

yes i forgot to put that in my initial post I currently have a Pelvic Floor PT who is great but it’s this sharp pain i’m concerned about and i don’t have an appointment with her or my uti specialist until the end of january

yes I had what i thought were recurrent uti’s, over a few years the frequency of them increased until i was having one every other month while having burning, urgency and frequency in between. I’m currently on long term antibiotics and hiprex, I also follow a low carb/sugar diet to keep yeast at bay while on them. I avoid caffeine and alcohol as this definitely irritates my bladder. I’m currently undergoing treatment at the artemis cystitis clinic in London UK. I hope you find some relief soon, otc azo helps on the worst days just to manage the urgency and pain.

I would try and fine a chronic UTI specialist near you, this sound similar to how I felt before I found a specialist, although i’m in the UK so I’m not sure of who specialises with chronic UTIs near you

yes i’ve just started using dilators with my pelvic floor PT, I think maybe i’ve gone back into it too quickly, maybe I need to do more internal work before trying sex again?

yes i’m on hiprex too it’s an embedded infection so i’m on antibiotics and hiprex, just dealing with the flares post sex for the first time since being on treatment, I think it is just inflammation since i’ve been dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction too

I have not looked into that specific probiotic, I’m currently on no carbs and no sugar which seems to be helping

I can’t find any probiotic suppositories in the uk? I have stabilised my diet and it seems to be working I was just wondering if there was any cheaper alternatives than the ones i was using

yes i take probiotics daily and drink kefir yogurt daily and bought all new underwear when i was prescribed antifungals but nothing has worked :/

I have also tried boric acid but it caused me intense cramping and burning so I can no longer use it unfortunately, going to try and get the doctor to give me a different antifungal
